Our Congregation is in its preaching and pursuits bound by the Holy Scripture as the indisputable word of God and by the doctrine and confessions of the Lutheran church.

For this reason our congregation associates with the two confessional Lutheran Church bodies in Southern Africa (the Lutheran Church in South Africa and the Free Evangelical Lutheran Synod in Southern Africa) and is also in touch with other Confessional Lutheran Churches overseas.

The location of our congregation in Arcadia, a part of Pretoria, where many students and diplomats live and work, entails that the members of our congregation come from very different backrounds. Approximately 100 people, sometimes from four different continents, meet every Sunday for worship services. Next to the English Liturgy and sermons we also sing Chorusses in various different languages.
